The Ratcliff Ranches 2009 Fall Sale saw strong demand in all divisions, including the bulls, purebred seed stock and commercial females. The commercial females had strong demand with 17 Commercial Fall bred heifers with A.I. Steel Force calves at side averaging $1,604.00. The commerical fall bred heifers with Angus A.I. sired calves at side averaged $1456 and 169 fall bred heifers averaged $1,375.00. Commercial spring bred heifers safe to A.I. sires averaged $1,328.00 and the balance of the heifers averaged $1,239.00. The spring calving Sim-Angus heifers safe to A.I. sires averaged $1,250.00.
The bull sale saw strong demand. 77 Angus bulls averaged $3,196.00 and 33 SimAngus bulls averaged $3100.00.
In the registered female division 104 Angus females averaged just over $3,000.00. 36 SimAngus open heifer calves averaged $3,310.00.

In a new twist for the sale, five ranch horses, ridden by Ratcliff cowboys averaged $5,890.00.
Volume bull buyers included Wayne Freeman, Phillip Smith, Jerry Bornemann and Eddie Mason. The volume commercial female buyer was Lucas Pierce of Oklahoma. The top selling Angus female sold to Sinclair Cattle Company of PA for $20,000.00. The Top SimAngus female sold to Bobby Price of Texas for $13,500.00. Bobby Price was also the top buyer in the registered female division.
